A skid-mounted Deur UF plant with hollow-fibre membrane modules, and a cut-away of a UF membrane: feed water carrying suspended solids, turbidity, colloids, bacteria and many viruses enters, particles are retained on the membrane surface and clarified UF filtrate leaves. Hollow-fibre UF membrane, 0.01 to 0.1 micron.
